Ways to give
Lasswade and Rosewell Parish Church relies greatly on donations from it’s members to support the work of the Church in the local community. There are various ways that you can make a donation to support our work:
At Church
By making a contribution to the collection during the Church service;
Monthly ongoing support
By making a regular payment through your bank by Standing Order, either using on-line banking or by completing a Standing Order form at your Bank. Please contact our Treasurer for more information;
On-line Banking
By making a bank transfer from your bank account to the Church’s bank account. Please contact our Treasurer for more information;
On-line donation
By making a 0ne-off payment to support Lasswade and Rosewell Parish Church through the Church of Scotland Donation Service. Should you decide to use this service, the payment will be made through PayPal and will incur a Charity transaction fee of 1.40% + 0.30p (subject to change) deducted from your donation. You will not be charged more if you’re paying in UK pounds.
What you can expect to see if you choose this option:
Step 1 Make sure that you select Donate to a congregation. Enter Lasswade & Rosewell in the church finder page and select Lasswade & Rosewell – Lothian & Borders from the dropdown menu. This should then appear in the Gift Aid declaration along with the charity number SC015878.
In step 2, select Gift Aid, if appropriate, then add your details.
Step 3 –
A Red Donate button will be shown , which will take you to PayPal’s secure website where you will be asked to fill in the amount you wish to donate, as well as your payment details. You will then be brought back to the Church of Scotland website.
Click on Donate to choose the on-line option.
Gift Aid
If you are a UK taxpayer your gift can be increased by 25% at no additional cost to yourself by agreeing to Gift Aid your donation. This additional income will be claimed by the Church in receipt of your gift where one has been specified. Contact our Treasurer for more information.
